FEATURES:

• POL ROGER ROSE VINTAGE 2012.  Since 1849, Pol Roger has observed the tradition of not releasing a vintage-dated champagne unless the climatic conditions permit the production of grapes of outstanding ripeness.  A vintage champagne must, above all else, be a balanced champagne.  This balance depends on the right blend of healthy grapes, a good potential alcohol and correct acidity.  The first criterion for declaring a vintage wine is its capacity to age.  Devotees who have the patience to age their champagnes are rewarded with a more complex and richer wine.  Composed of 65% pinot noir and 35% chardonnay, expect tasting notes of pale raspberry with fine copper glints.  The nose is opulent and well structured, with red berries and a rich spicy depth.  The palate taught, with a refreshing backbone of acidity, that rounds out to a sensation of bursting redcurrants.  A lively finish that is impressively long.  Savour now for freshness or keep for many years to come for a richer and more opulent wine.  Made in France.

• WONDAREE MACADAMIA NUTS (x2).  Deliciously crunchy, these premium quality macadamia nuts are grown on the Atherton Tablelands, Far North Qld.  50gm.
• KNUTSFORD GOURMET FENNEL & SEA SALT GRAHAM CRACKERS.  A short buttery biscuit perfectly balanced with sweet and salty then complimented using toasted fennel seeds.  Pairs beautifully with a strong blue cheese or mature cheddar.  Made in Perth.  90gm.
• KNUTSFORD GOURMET BLACK PEPPER & SESAME SPELT BISCUITS.  A short, savoury butter biscuit made from wholemeal spelt flour for a delicious nutty flavour and complimented with a mix of black and white sesame then spiced with black pepper.  Pairs beautifully with all firm and soft goats’ cheeses or a sharp aged Pecorino.  Made in Perth.  80gm.
